Round Two

So obviously you know what I was up to last week.

Madeline, I hope you had a grand birthday, sorry I couldn't stay for the rest of it that night. Did you enjoy your cake? & what else did you get (Besides the Beatles picture you freaked about hahaha)?

You were pretty funny when I was talking to you while you were asleep though haha. anyways.

When I get back for good (and after my trip to Dallas!) I should have a little more time to spend with you guys though, aside from time spent at work. I think that week was just very rushed haha. & Kyle, we will do putt putt. Don't worry.

Okay so then I flew back to Utah - no problems on the plane this time. The first half, to Albuquerque, I sat next to an old dude and his wife who read the entire time and the second half, I had the window seat and the flight was pretty empty so no one was in the middle seat, and there was some college chick on her ipod in the aisle row. I got some good sleep the entire time.

The weekend was pretty chill. I got some good Tiger time - he's a terror on legs now.. and then we saw Horton Hears a Who - which I loved, and went to the Mayan! I love that place. I also did my dances for the Gparents, and then we played Scattegories, which they've never played before and it was way fun.

Okay so then I got a cheesecake for my birthday, with those little sugar things on it. Mmm so good, probably some of the best cheesecake I've ever had.

And so now I'm on my last year of teenage-dom. yuck.

And so we got back to Idaho eventually, one of these days we're planning on celebrating my bday. I started classes, one of which is Food Prep, and we did confectionery this week on Tues, making lollipops. Me & my partner made Kiwi flavored. It came time to use the molds; the candy had reached the 'hard crack stage' at 315 degrees F. And when I was about to pour it into the molds, Laura pulled out the spoon, over my hand, and a gob of it attacked my finger :( It seared off the flesh on my joint, and bubbled up the rest of the way down. The picture was taken today - At first I felt a sting, then strangely nothing, and then about 30 min later, it felt like my finger was getting cut off. Crazy. If you touch it, it's like a hole in my finger - so weird. Definitely going to scar, dangit. Before it scabbed you could see the bone moving under the few layers that now protect it. The first aid ppl said I would be okay though, they put some stuff on it. Oh well our suckers turned out well, and the roomies liked em so I suppose that is good.

And we must include a chapter of DInga's relationship so here is dan dancing as 'Dan in Real Life' hahah. Love it. Ciao!

Final First Stretch

Mom, I think you should remind me of my uncle's lesson about fire, because I have no idea who it is or what happened. Don't worry, I kept all the JC fire safety in mind.. and we had a fire extinguisher on hand. Ah well what can you do, I was in the moment.

Speaking of fire, this friday we decided to go to Dan's aunt's house and build a campfire to roast marshmallows - just a spur of the moment thing. So we did, then we went in the house and oh my goodness it was amazing. My dream house for sure.. and I seriously do not think I would ever have to leave that house for anything.. name it and they probably have it. We decided to stay the night there friday (only like 3-5 hours of sleep because of the Rock Band game & then watching Blades of Glory), and we chilled there the next day & watched Conference (well.. I kinda drifted through it cuz I was dead..) and then I built another fire and roasted the rest of the marshmallows for a great breakfast cuz I didnt want the alternative - Krispy Kremes. My room/clothes still smell like camping.

We really do love dan hhaha. he so funny with Inga.

He texted Alexis talking about proposing to Inga, like asking if he should do it and getting advice and input from her. Like to propose this week, which he said would be perfect because he could ask her father's permission next week when they go to Utah for the break. She was really feeling pressure with this and it was a big deal.

So then, later on that night after Inga came home from their date, Alexis asked Inga, "If Dan were to propose to you tomorrow, would you say yes?" and Inga said she probably would, but asked if she'd been talking to Dan and Alexis was all noooooooo..

Pretty much the best April Fool's joke I've ever witnessed.

Alexis was soooo pissed.. like you have no idea, you have to understand how involved she is in all of our lives hahaha daaang she was INFURIATED. Other than that I won't describe what happened after she found it was a joke..

.. but it was frikkin hilarious.

In other news, Josh came to visit last weekend, which was pretty cool. We styled his hair into a fohawk and LOVED it - he's never styled his hair before. Everyone thought it was amazing. As you can see he feels it's fabulous too. we told him he should get his hair cut so it works a bit better and he was like naaah I'm leaving in a few months what does it matter? ARG! haha stupid josh.

So we chilled at home, made cheesecakes, then we went to Tomassitos which it turns out had just closed so we walked to Broulims, met up with Morgan Davis, and got Craigo's pizza. It was a Texas reunion. You can see the picture of Josh being a chicken there, while we were waiting for it to cook.

MK so then we walked to the Rex and went bowling. He was way excited cuz he got a new record of 177 (there is a picture of him jumping in his enthusiasm). I got second place to him. Morgan got 3rd.

Sad day, this was the last time I get to see him for like 2 1/2 years; he's heading to Guadalajara, Mexico, on his mission, and he leaves before I return from Idaho.

Now I get to take 12784781 final exams and hope I get a good grade - super stress week, then next week is the break. Alexis heads home to Bakersfield, CA, Inga & Dan are driving down to Utah to chill with her family, KJ is staying here, Kala is moving out and heading off to meet Mike's parents and to rush on with her wedding plans. I go to Lewisville (I think thats it), with Myra to her grandparents' ranchhouse. And I will ride horses and it will be good. Then friday I'm gonna head down with Myra to Utah - her sister lives there so she will stay there and I will be at Mindy's or Gma's. We'll have a good time, Saturday we head to the Mayan for my birthday feast!! and then sunday IS my birthday (last year of being a teenager :[ I'm not happy about it), and then I'm gonna drive with Alexis (and at times, FOR Alexis) back up to freaking Rexburg to start 18 credits. Blech.

Well until next time, stay fly.
