So I was thinking about expenses and changes over the next few years and I came up with a timeline that has the more major stuff on it

2009

- Courtney (20):
College, living in Disney World

- Madeline (18):
Enters college

- Ryan (15):
Begins on car insurance

- Kyle (13)

2010

- Courtney (21):
College, mission

- Madeline (19):
Finishes up freshman year and starts sophomore year

- Ryan (16)

- Kyle (14)

2011

- Courtney (22):
Mission

- Madeline (20):
Finishes up sophomore year and starts junior year

- Ryan (17)

- Kyle (15):
Begins on car insurance

2012

- Courtney (23):
Returns home, picks up college - finishes junior year

- Madeline (21):
Finishes junior year, Mission

- Ryan (18):
Graduates high school, starts college

- Kyle (16)

2013

- Courtney (24):
College - senior year, Graduation and out into the world (grad school?)

- Madeline (22):
Mission, Returns home late 2013

- Ryan (19):
College - finishes freshman year, Mission

- Kyle (17)

2014

- Courtney (25):
On my own (grad school?)

- Madeline (23):
College - senior year, Graduation and out into the world (grad/Med school?)

- Ryan (20):
Mission

- Kyle (18)

2015

- Courtney (26):
On my own (grad school?)

- Madeline (24):
On her own (grad/Med school?)

- Ryan (21):
Returns from mission, picks up on college

- Kyle (19):

Graduates high school, Mission

2016

- Courtney (27):
On my own

- Madeline (25):
On her own (grad/Med school?)

- Ryan (22):
Finishes up sophomore year and starts junior year

- Kyle (20):

Mission

2017

- Courtney (28):
On my own

- Madeline (26):
On her own (grad/Med school?)

- Ryan (23):
Finishes up junior year and starts senior year

- Kyle (21):

Returns from mission, starts college

................... and so on and so forth. And of course it all isn't going to go exactly this way. Because there will be accidents and surprises and marriages and disaster and births and deaths and trips and the list of additional expenses and change goes on. You get the idea.
